The Jacksonville Jaguars are expecting running back Toby Gerhart to be an every down back. On Tuesday the veteran returned to practice from a hip injury.
Gerhart, 27, will attempt to play in Thursday’s second preseason game.

Last season Gerhart ran the ball 36 times for 283 yards and two touchdowns. He added 13 receptions for 88 yards.
Even with the Jaguars offense the former Stanford standout should have no problems besting his career highs of 2011 of 531 yards rushing and 190 receiving.
