The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have checked in on free agent kicker Rob Bironas. Formerly of the Tennessee Titans, Bironas became a free agent in March.
Connor Barth is at the top of the depth chart at kicker in Tampa Bay but he missed the entire 2013 season with a torn Achilles’.

The 36-year-old Bironas was 25-of-29 last season missing one kick inside the 40 yard line. By cutting Bironas in March the Titans saved $3.125 million against the salary cap. He had inked a two year deal in 2012.
