Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
Given a four-year deal worth $27.5 million, the Redskins are hopeful that the 31-year-old can be back on the field in tie for Week 1. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Hatcher had a career year in 2013 recording 11 sacks after having just 16 in his previous seven seasons.
