The St. Louis Rams are close to signing offensive guard Davis Joseph according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.
Jospeh, 31, was linked to the Rams at the start of free agency but the two sides never worked out a deal. The Rams went ahead and drafted Greg Robinson with the No. 2 overall pick.

Signing Joseph now could mean that Robinson or holdover Rodger Saffold may move to tackle. No word on the financials of a deal.
Joseph was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March.
