It seems like only a matter of time before Dustin Keller signs with the New England Patriots. No team has been mentioned in connection to Keller as much as as the Patriots but thus far no deal has been announced.
ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss speculates that the Patriots could be waiting until after June 1 to Keller in order to avoid having him count towards the compensatory pick formula.
There is also some concern over Keller’s knee after he tore three ligaments and dislocated it last summer.
In 72 career games, Keller has 241 receptions for 2,876 yards and 17 touchdowns.
