The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Ryan Williams.
Williams, 24, was recently let go by the Arizona Cardinals. He apparently impressed the Cowboys enough in a Saturday workout that the team is willing to take a flier on him.
The Cowboys currently have DeMarco Murray, Lance Dunbar and Joseph Randle on their roster. Williams will be fighting for snaps behind Murray after he did not play in any of the Cardinals games a season ago.
Williams had 164 yards rushing on 58 attempts in 2012.
