Bills select WR Sammy Watkins at No. 4 after trading with Browns

The Buffalo Bills had been linked to wide receiver Sammy Watkins of Clemson this past week. While the Bills had the No. 9 pick it was unlikely that Watkins would be on the board at that point. With that knowledge the Bills made a trade with the Cleveland Browns.

In exchange for the rights to get Watkins, the Bills gave up the No. 9 pick, their 2015 first round pick and their fourth round pick in 2015.

The addition of Watkins will give last year’s first round pick, EJ Manuel, a big target to throw to after they got Mike Williams in the offseason. Stevie Johnson could be traded later.
