Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has one goal, to be the best quarterback ever.

Seriously though, what else would you expect from the 25-year-old who recently won his first Super Bowl ring?

Wilson threw out the first pitch in Wednesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies and afterward spoke about his late father who asked him why he could not be the greatest quarterback to play in the NFL

“Why can’t I be the best quarterback to ever play the game one day?’ Wilson said, via ESPN Dallas. “I’m not right now. I’ve got a long way to go. But one day, you know?”

Asked about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Wilson said he did not know him personally but offered words of respect.

“Watching him on film, he makes a lot of great plays and he’s elusive and finds ways to find his guys,” Wilson said. “I have a lot of respect for Tony Romo and what he does for the Dallas Cowboys.”

Wilson will also be attending the NCAA Final Four on Saturday as his Wisconsin Badgers will face off against the Kentucky Wildcats.
