New York Giants right guard Chris Snee has taken a big paycut to stay with the team.
There were some reports earlier this winter that Snee could retire but instead he will take a paycut lowering his salary from $7.2 million to just $1.1 million. He can also make another $1 million in incentives. He was set to count $11.75 million against the salary cap prior to this pay cut.
Giants G Chris Snee restructured his contract, lowering his salary from $7.2 million to $1.1 million + $1M of incentives. So $2.1 max cash.

When healthy Snee remains a more than capable offensive lineman.
Snee is the son in-law of Giants head coach Tom Coughlin. He appeared in just three games last season.
