Peyton Manning cleared following neck exam

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been cleared following his annual neck exam.

Manning underwent a similar exam last season which guaranteed his contract for the 2013 and 2014 season. Manning has had four neck surgeries, including a spinal fusion that kept him out of the 2011 season. There have been no issues with his neck since returning for the 2012 season.

In 2013 Manning became the first five-time NFL MVP after setting records with 55 touchdowns, and 5,477 yards.

Manning will make $20 million in 2014, his third season with the Broncos.
