The Denver Broncos reportedly will let wide receiver Eric Decker test the free agent market.
Decker, 26, caught 87 passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns this season for the Broncos.
The Broncos have both Demaryius and Julius Thomas entering contract years so they are not about to throw money at Decker just because he is reaching free agency first. Likely the Broncos will ask Decker for the ability to match any contract.
It’s been speculated and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport confirmed as much on Sunday.
From my #NFLGameDay hit: #Broncos WR Eric Decker will hit the FA market. Team fears they may lose him. They view him as a No. 2

We expect Decker would follow the money but perhaps Denver gives him the best chance at a Super Bowl ring? (or a second, depending on Sunday’s game)
