The Atlanta Falcons have added Scott Pioli as an assistant to general manager Thomas Dimitroff.
Pioli was fired by the Kansas City Chiefs after a 2-14 season in 2012. With many of Pioli’s players in place, the Chiefs rebounded to go 11-5 this season

Dimitroff and Pioli have a close relationship from their time working together in New England. The Falcons will hope to fix a team beset by injuries in 2013.
