If you have seen the San Francisco 49ers at all in recent seasons you probably have noticed that head coach Jim Harbaugh wears the same clothes every week.
Same hat, same black shirt and even the same red sharpie around his neck. He even wears the same pants.
Superstitious much? Well one person is not very fond of the pants, his wife.
Sarah Harbaugh appeared on Bay Area’s 99.7 FM show “Fernando & Greg” and went on a crusade against her husbands pants.
“I’ve thrown them away many of times,” Sarah Harbaugh said. “I’ve asked him: ‘Please, pleats are gone. Wear the flat front.’ He has a flattering body.”
Sarah says she has thrown away her husbands pants numerous times but they keep coming back.
“I threw them out and when he went to the combine, he found a Walmart,” Sarah Harbaugh said. “They were $8. $8!”
For what it’s worth Harbaugh makes around $5 million a season as the head coach of the 49ers. Sarah says that Jim will allow someone to dress him differently next season but with three straight NFC Championship appearances with the same get-up we find that one hard to believe.
