Cowboys: Doug Free undergoes ankle surgery

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Doug Free underwent surgery on his right ankle.

Free is expected to be ready for for offseason programs in April reports ESPN. He accepted a pay-cut to $3.5 million last season so there is a good chance he will return to the Cowboys in 2014.
