The New Orleans Saints recovered an onside kick to give themselves a chance to tie the Seattle Seahawks in the closing seconds of Saturday’s NFC Playoff game.

On 3rd and 2 Drew Brees hit Marques Colston for a first down. Rather than step out of bounds Colston stayed in bounds and threw the ball forward.

There result was an illegal forward pass.

This resulted in a ten second run off which ended the game. Had Colston stepped out of bounds the Saints would of had at-least one chance by Brees to throw up a Hail Mary pass.
