The Carolina Panthers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 21-20 in Week 17 to claim the NFC South.
Carolina also earned a first-round bye with the win.
After starting the season 1-3, the Panthers rallied with an 11-1 run finishing with a 12-4 record. Entering the season on the hot-seat head coach Ron Rivera is now a coach of the year candidate.
