The Dallas Cowboys will be without the captain of their defense in addition to the captain of their offense when they play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.
Already without quarterback Tony Romo, the Cowboys will be without linebacker Sean Lee.
Lee, 27, has been out with a neck injury which appears to be worse than the Cowboys initially expected. The absence of Lee is of course a significant blow to the Cowboys but they were already the NFL’s worst unit with Lee on the field.
Cowboys LB Sean Lee's neck injury is more significant than team thought, which is why he will not play Sunday vs. Eagles.

Even if the Cowboys were to somehow pull off the upset in the go-or-go-home game against the Eagles it’s looking high doubtful that Lee sees the field again this season.
