In 2011 Scandrick signed a six-year, $28.2 million deal but this new extension will make him a Cowboy until 2018.
The Cowboys are last in nearly every defensive statistic this season but Scandrick has been a lone bright spot. He has taken over a starting cornerback spot and leads the club with 14 pass breakups and has two interceptions.
