The Houston Texans are not going to the playoffs this season but they are not going ot roll over says quarterback Case Keenum.
Keenum was recently moved back to the starting quarterback role and is hoping to have a strong finish to the end of the 2013 season. Opposition beware.
“We’ve got nothing to lose and I think that’s pretty scary for other teams,” Keenum said Wednesday, via the Houston Chronicle. “Because we’re really talented and have nothing to lose, and I think a lot of guys are pissed off. So, that’s kind of a scary combination.”“I probably shouldn’t say (pissed). My mom’s probably going to be mad because I used that word.”
The Texans are simply playing for pride and now will go out looking to derail the opposition.
“I think everybody’s making the best of it,” Keenum said. “And, honestly, we’re really ready to get out and go compete and go play. When it all comes down to it, there’s a lot of outside factors that are going on. The best thing for us is just to go out and play football.”
