Jerry Jones on Monte Kiffin “nobody I would rather have” running defense

The Dallas Cowboys defense is at the bottom of nearly every statistic but owner Jerry Jones believes in defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and defensive line coach Rod Marinelli.

Jones offered strong support for Kiffin on a weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan.

“There’s nobody I would rather have than him and (defensive line coach) Rod Marinelli. … There’s nobody I would rather have to get it fixed.”

“At his age (73), he’s had a lot of different experiences. With all of that in mind, he’s just got a resolve and he doesn’t in any way reject the responsibility. As a matter of fact, he invites it all on himself.”

The Cowboys were torched by Josh McCown who finished Monday’s game 27-of-36 for 348 yards with four touchdowns. McCown also added a rushing touchdown.
