The Arizona Cardinals believe that cornerback Tyrann Mathieu suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s win over the St. Louis Rams.
Mathieu will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the injury which occurred while the rookie was playing on special teams.

While tackling Tavon Austin his leg planted awkwardly and eventually gave out. He laid on the turf for a few moments before limping off the field under his own power. He then fell down and was carted off the field.
The loss of Mathieu will create a big hole on the Cardinals defense.
