C.J. Spiller was everything on Sunday for the Buffalo Bills in an overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Spiller was ineffective, exciting and of course hurt.

Two big runs, a 77-yard and a 36-yard touchdown, made up the bulk of Spiller’s offensive output. Against the Falcons, Spiller ran the ball 15 times for a season-high 149 yards finding the endzone once but it was his ankle that has everyone asking questions.

“It’s kind of been that type of season for C.J.,” Bills coach Doug Marrone said, via Buffalo News. “I think you can see he can make some big plays out there. I was happy to see him do that.”

During the game Spiller was seen limping at times. When asked about his ankle after the game the running back said it was “fine”

Spiller was more disappointed that the Bills could not beat the Falcons than he was talking about his ankle.

“Any time you lose it’s always frustrating,” Spiller said. “We had opportunities to win it and we just didn’t.”
