Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said the team is planning to stick with Matt McGloin at quarterback for now.

“I don’t think he’s done anything to play himself out of that position,” Allen said of McGloin, via the Contra Costa Times.

The undrafted McGloin has started the last three games for the Raiders including a 31-24 loss to Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. McGloin was 18-of-30 for 255 yards with an interception against the Cowboys.

“We need to have a good evaluation of what we have at the quarterback position as we move forward,” Allen said. “These last four weeks will be instrumental in us being able to do that.”

There is no shortage of quarterbacks available in the draft. The Raiders will have to decide if they want to build around McGloin, Terrelle Pryor or someone in the draft.
