All those reports that rocker Jon Bon Jovi wanted to buy the Buffalo Bills are false according to the singers agent.

“The Bills are not for sale, and he has too much respect for Mr. Wilson to engage in any discussions of buying the team,” Ken Sunshine said.

Bon Jovi has “a day job that’s doing very well,” Sunshine added, “It’s preposterous to say he’s had any discussions with the Bills and Erie County.”

A recent report from CBSSports.com cited unidentified sources who said that Bon Jovi is among those seeking to buy the Bills after current owner Ralph Wilson’s death. Wilson turned 95 last month.

Wilson currently lives outside of Detroit and Russ Brandon has been running the day-to-day operations of the team since Jan. 1 of this year.

In response to the report regarding Bon Jovi, the Bills released a statement on Sunday: “The organization does not respond to reports of the interest other parties may have in ownership or of speculation concerning various groups that may have such interest.”

Currently the are 4-7 coming off their bye week. They will next play the 2-9 Atlanta Falcons in a home game in Toronto on Sunday.
