Jerry Jones said the  Cowboys coaches will use the bye week to focus on getting Dez Bryant the ball more. Bryant saw just two targets in Week 10 and is averaging a meager 6.3 targets per game over the last three weeks.

Bryant caught one pass for 44 yards in Sunday night’s game against New Orleans, and seemed outlandish when asked by the media why “I just do as asked,” Bryant said, via the San Antonio Express News. “That’s what I do. I can’t answer that.”

Receivers like Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green and Brandon Marshall consistently beat double- and triple-teams via both creative scheming and unique physical ability. The Cowboys can do the same thing with Bryant, but aren’t giving him a chance lately.

With the focus on getting Bryant the ball more, expect a renewed focus on Bryant and some new wrinkles when the Cowboys emerge in Week 12.
