The recent loss of the former Super bowl MVP, Aaron Rodgers, has left the cheese heads (Wisconsin Fans) wondering who can they rely on to pick up the slack with their QB out. Thursday gave those fans many reasons to smile as Clay Matthews, former pro bowler, announced he’s ready to get back on the playing field against the Eagles (4-5) on Sunday.
FLYNN: Packers to work out QB soon
Matthews got his thumb surgically repaired this past week after injuring it a few weeks back. The Packers star defensive player was suited up and participated in practice on Thursday and limited drills on Wednesday.
It looks as though Matthews will be a game time decision against the Eagles on Sunday.
