Doug Martin will need shoulder surgery to repair a torn laburm but has been holding out hope that he will be cleared to play again this season.
The Buccaneers are 0-8 on the season so its hard to imagine that they would push Martin to play unless he was truly healthy.
Coach Schiano: If at any time it is going to affect Doug Martin negatively to delay his shoulder surgery, he will have the surgery.

Its been a tough sophmore season for Martin. In six games Martin has 456 yards rushing with one touchdown. Martin also has 12 catches for 66 yards.
