Nick Foles tied an NFL record on Sunday with seven touchdown passes.
Foles had no trouble picking apart the Oakland Raiders defense going 22-of-28 for 406 yards with seven touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The Eagles made the decision to pull Foles midway though the fourth quarter which took away his chances of setting the record.
Earlier this season Peyton Manning was gushed over for throwing seven touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens but we doubt the national media will give Foles such credit even as both performances came against less then stellar opposition.
The performance of Foles in Week 9 should give him some sort of a leash going forward. The Eagles will travel to Green Bay next week to play the Packers.
