The Detroit Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys 31-30 on Sunday afternoon after Lions QB Matthew Stafford scored the game-winning touchdown. Stafford led his team on an amazing comeback win. The Lions had only a minute to drive down the field and score.
Stafford ran down the field giving the gesture for the spike play. The gesture had everyone thinking he was going to spike the play to stop the clock, but instead he jumped over the offensive line when he got the ball and reached the ball over the goal line for the touchdown.
The Cowboys were stunned. The Lions were stunned. Fans were stunned.
With only 12 seconds left on the clock, the Cowboys were not able to rebound.
