The Kansas City Chiefs remained unbeaten with a win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. One of the reasons for the Chiefs success on Sunday was running back Jamaal Charles who admitted after the game he has been dealing with blisters on his toes.

“I soaked them this whole week, and I’ve got to continue to soak ’em,” Charles said, via the KC Star. “It’s a long season, we’ve got 11 more (games).”

It is hard to say that the blisters have taken away from what Charles was able to do on Sunday. He ran for a season high 108 yards on 22 carries against the Titans. He also caught five passes for 37 yards.

“I think (because of) the way I run and cut, that’s where the majority of the wear and tear on my feet come from,” Charles said. “I’m doing more stuff than I did last year … but I’m happy I’m doing more stuff and I can help my team win.”
