Hugh Douglas, a former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end and ESPN NFL analyst, has been arrested in Hartford, CT for allegedly attaching a woman at a hotel. Douglas has been charged with third degree assault and second degree strangulation according to WFSB-TV.
While Court papers state Douglas grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her into the wall several times, Douglas told police that the victim’s injuries occured during “rough sex.”
Douglas joined ESPN in 2011 after a ten year career spent with the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles. He was fired from ESPN after a incident with “Numbers Never Lie” co-host Michael Smith.
