Reggie Bush wants to play in the Lions Week 3 match-up against the Washington Redskins but the team is holding him out.
Bush would have had a chance to feast on a Redskins defense which has been tortured in the seasons first two games.
Due to knee injury, Lions RB Reggie Bush is not expected to play today vs. Washington. He is expected to play next week.

Joique Bell will fill in for Bush  and the Lions offense is not figured to be significantly impacted.
Bush, 28, has 115 yards rushing and 145 yards receiving and a touchdown though two games this season.
