Von Miller has warrant for arrest in California

Von Miller has a warrant out for his arrest in California. It is the latest news about Miller who was cited last Thursday in Arapahoe County CO for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

Susan Schroeder, spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office told The Denver Post that Miller has a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticket issued last year.

Miller is currently facing multiple legal issues in Colorado and was arrested last month on a failure-to-appear warrant when he tried to purchase a gun.

Currently Miller is serving a six game suspension for violating the NFL’s drug policy. The NFL has the ability to extend Miller’s suspension if they deem it necessary.

UPDATE: Miller’s agent says the matter has been taken care of and that Miller paid the $559 fine.

“This was a traffic infraction and not a criminal matter,” Joby Branion said in his statement. “On July 9th 2012, the speeding ticket and all associated fees were paid in full. On July 12th 2012, this case was closed. No warrant was ever issued for Von’s arrest.”
