SEPTEMBER 8 – The New England Patriots head into Buffalo to play against the Bills on Sunday as the NFL season gets under way for both teams.

Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, NY will host the Week 1 match-up between the Patriots and the Bills. Coverage of the game will air on CBS in appropriate markets beginning at 1:00 pm ET.

The New England Patriots are a 10 point favorite against the Buffalo Bills. The over/under is 51 total points.

Surprisingly the Patriots were only favored by five when the line got released but bettors quickly pounced on that number.

The Bills have first-round draft pick E.J. Manuel ready to start his first NFL game and odds are the team will feature a heavy running attack based on the legs of C.J. Spiller.

New England has quite an advantage at quarterback with Tom Brady but the Patriots do have some concerns about their receiving corps outside of free agent addition Danny Amendola. That happens when you let go of leading receiver Wes Welker who caught 118 passes last year.

Various reports have suggested that the Patriots could be more focused on the ground this season but with the Bills having a less then stellar group of defensive backs it may be wise for them to use this as an opportunity to get the passing game firing on all cylinders.

Will New England buffalo the Bills or are the Patriots primed for a Week 1 stunner?
