Once seen as an early round pick, Chase Minnifield fell out of the 2012 Draft as teams had concerns about the health of his knee.
The 24-year-old Minnifield suffered a torn ACL during training camp in 2012 and worked over the summer to get back on the playing field.
Well this isn’t going to be popular…Chase Minnifield says he was told by the #Redskins that he is being let go. They want him on P-S.

On Saturday the Redskins made the decision to cut Minnifield. The Redskins are hopeful they can place the former West Virginia player on their practice squad.
In addition tight end Emmanuel Ogbuehi, running back Keiland Williams and defensive end Chigbo Anunoby are some of the latest cuts by the Redskins.
