After adding Vince Young late in the preseason and then praising his abilities the Green Bay Packers cut the dual threat quarterback on Saturday.
The Packers cut Graham Harrell earlier in the week which was seen as a sign that Young would be the backup to Aaron Rodgers. That is not the case as the 30-year-old Young has been cut.
Vince Young was just released by the #Packers, source says.

B.J. Coleman, a seventh-round pick in 2012, will be behind Rodgers on the depth chart.
“He stinks, one NFL personnel director told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel of Young. “Looks like he can’t retain the plays.”
Young played poorly in the Packers preseason finale and will now have to look elsewhere if he wants to continue his NFL comeback.
