The Dallas Cowboys have reached an agreement with middle linebacker Sean Lee on a six-year contract extension.
Lee was entering the final year of his rookie contract. While Lee has shown the ability to be the leader of the Cowboys defense he has a lengthy history of injuries. Lee suffered a torn ACL during his final year at Penn State in 2008.
Congrats to SEAN LEE for agreeing to a 6 year extension with the @dallascowboys

Last year Lee missed the final ten games of the season with a toe injury. Over his first three years Lee has missed 13 games.
Lee’s new deal is for six years and $42 million though the 2019 season. It includes $16.1 million in guaranteed money, and includes incentives which could push it to $51 million.
