The Kansas City Chiefs may be able to breathe a little easier. Star running back Jamaal Charles was spotting walking without a limp Tuesday morning.
Charles, 26, is again expected to be a large part of the Chiefs offense in 2013.
On Monday the sixth year player went down with a right foot injury. That Charles is not wearing a boot and appears to be walking without issue would suggest he has not suffered a serious injury.

While X-rays taken on Monday came back negative for any broken bones the Chiefs have no reason to rush Charles back onto the field for preseason action. There is simply nothing to prove by rushing Charles back onto the field prior to the season starting.
The Chiefs have listed Charles as day-to-day after he saw two orthopedic doctors.
Charles racked up a career high 1,509 yards rushing last season and added five touchdowns.
