The rap duo of Peyton and Eli Manning will not be releasing any additional hits.
After the Manning brothers dropped “Football on your phone” this week players across the league had the tune stuck in their head but there will be no follow ups.
“I think I will stay with my day job and keep playing football for long as possible,” Eli said, via the AP. “A one and done. A one-hit wonder probably.”
The idea of Eli Manning in a rap video is far from norm for the Giants quarterback. Longtime Giants teammate Chris Snee shared a little about Manning’s typical radio habits.
“I’ve never heard Eli sing period,” the offensive lineman said. “When he controls the radio it’s usually country or something nobody really wants to listen to besides him.”
