The San Francisco 49ers will be without corner back Chris Culliver for the 2013 season.

Culliver, 24, tore his ACL in practice during Thursday’s training camp. He will miss the entire season.

The injury occurred when Culliver got tangled up with corner Marcus Cooper on a punt return. Culliver was expected to serve as the 49ers third corner this season.

This comes one day after Patrick Willis suffered a hand injury. The 49ers are also without a handful of receivers which include Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams. Now the 49ers are beginning to mount injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

In total there were at-least 12 players who did not practice on Thursday.
