The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed fullback Vonta Leach to a two-year contract.
Leach, 31, ranks at the top when it comes to run blocking. The Ravens had let him go after their Super Bowl win due to his salary but with an injury to tight-end Dennis Pitta pressure mounted for the team to make a move.
Rookie Kyle Juszcsyk can now be employed as an H-back to offset some of the production lost with Pitta’s injury.
The Ravens are not out of the market for a wide receiver.
