Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are a near-lock to win the AFC West this season but there are concerns.
Despite returning to the field and appearing in every game last season for the Broncos there are still some concerns about Manning’s ability to grip the ball.
The Denver Post notes that Manning and the offense appears to have more “comfort” this season but there are questions about the physical ability of the 37-year-old quarterback.
“There are some small questions about his physical limitations, in terms of the grip in his right hand and the strength in his right triceps in the wake of the Broncos’ stunning playoff loss to the Ravens at frigid Sports Authority Field at Mile High.”
While it can be debated whether or not that loss was stunning but the questions about Manning’s grip will linger all season culminating in either a Super Bowl victory or a season ending defeat.
