Colts TE suspened 8 games for PED use

Another Indianapolis Colts player has run afoul of the NFL’s policy regarding performance enhancing drugs. Tight end Weslye Saunders has been suspended for eight games by the league for his second violation of on the leagues policy regarding PEDs.

Earlier this offseason wide receiver LaVon Brazill was suspended for four games for a voilation of hte leagues policy on substance abuse. Safety Joe Lefeged was recently arrested on gun related charges in Washington, D.C.

Saunders, 24, joined the Colts last season just five days after being released by Pittsburgh. The Steelers cut him after he had been suspended four games for testing positive for the stimulant drug adderall.

Last season Saunders appeared in six games for the Colts catching two passes for 15 yards.
