Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware said he will be ready to go when the Cowboys open training camp on Sunday, according to ESPNDallas.

“I’ll be out there doing everything from all the drills to all the plays they want me to do,” said Ware. “I know how it’s going to go, and it’s going to go well.”

Ware underwent shoulder surgery in early January, and was held out of team drills in OTAs and mini camp.

“I feel like my shoulder is about 94 percent, if you want to put it that way,” Ware said, referring to his uniform number. ”

Ware led the Cowboys with 11.5 sacks last season and was picked to the Pro Bowl for the seventh time in his eight year career.

Ware has never missed a game in those eight years either, although many times he played through an injury. He played almost all of the second half of last season with an elbow injury that did not require surgery.

“If we had to play a game tomorrow, I’d be ready to play.” Ware said.
