DeMarco Murray says hamstring is 100 percent

The Dallas Cowboys will again rely on DeMarco Murray to carry the ball in 2013 and the running back says he is where he needs to be.

“I definitely feel like I’m back to where I need to be,” Murray said, via ESPN, as the Cowboys finished up mini-camp on Thursday.

The Cowboys pan to run the ball more in 2013 which makes the health of Murray important for the team. He missed six games last season while dealing with a foot injury and in his rookie season he suffered a fractured ankle.

“I just need to continue to play hard,” Murray said. “I may not do all the work right and may get sloppy here and there, but I need to continue to make plays. Play hard and play free. I can’t go out there thinking too much.”

Murray has led the Cowboys in rushing the last two seasons but the Cowboys will need more then his career high of 897 yards if they are to contend this year.
