Prosecutors want the bond of Josh Brent revoked after he failed a court-mandated drug test. Brent tested positive for marijuana.
Brent failed the drug test last month according to KDFW.
It was just last month that Brent was in court after his SCRAM device was set off for alcohol use. Brent’s defense attorneys argued that the device could have been triggered by the the being in the presence of alcohol or from hand sanitizer.
Brent will face trial later this year for the death of teammate Jerry Brown, Jr. in a December automobile wreck. Brent’s alcohol levels were more than twice the legal limit after the accident.
