New Orleans Saints WR arrested, booked with DWI

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Morgan, 25, was sleeping in his car when he was stopped. He was also found to be driving without a license.

A New Orleans area trooper woke Morgan and had him step out of the vehicle reports the Times-Picayune. It was then that the trooper suspected that Morgan was intoxicated and had him perform a field sobriety test. Morgan did poorly on the test and later was found to have a 0.218 blood alcohol content, more then twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

Morgan was booked Saturday at the Gretna jail. He was released the same day on a $1,150 bond.

The speedy wide receiver hauled in 10 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns in 2012, he is listed third on the Saints depth chart at his position.
