The Chicago Bears have signed their first-round pick from the 2013 NFL Draft. Kyle Long and the Bears have agreed on a four-year contract. Long was the 20th pick of the draft.

Long is expected to start training came as a right guard but the athletic lineman could also be an option at left guard and right tackle. The Bears were initially criticized for their pick of Long but at-least two other teams were considering drafting him in the first-round.

It will be a tough first season for Long as he will have to match-up against Ndamukong Suh and B.J. Raji twice.

The total value of Long’s deal is roughly $8.2 million according to the Chicago Tribune.
