Bills closing in on deal with free agent QB Kevin Kolb

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is close to a deal with the Buffalo Bills. ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes a deal will get done Saturday night,

In Buffalo, Kolb will be given a chance to start for the Bills who also have Tarvaris Jackson on their roster. Signing Kolb would hardly keep the Bills from using an early-round pick on a quarterback.

In two seasons in Arizona the 28-year-old Kolb started just 14 games behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. During that span Kolb threw for 3,124 yards, 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

While much of the talk in Buffalo has been on the quarterback position the Bills are also in need of receivers with Stevie Johnson as the only viable pass catcher on the team.
