Ravens could keep Bryant McKinnie

Since their Super Bowl victory there has been a seemingly endless list of players who are no longer Baltimore Ravens. The team recently reached out to left tackle Bryant McKinnie about a possible return.

McKinnie will turn 34 in September and has drawn little to no interest on the free agent market.

According to CSN Baltimore two coaches from the Ravens have spoken to McKinnie recently.

“I can’t say I expect 2 (stay),” McKinnie said in a text message. “But Harbs called and then 1 of the O-Line-coaches called 10 minutes after.”

The Ravens slashed McKinnie’s salary for the 2012 season after he failed to win a starting job in training camp. McKinnie was set to earn $3.2 million last year but saw his salary dropped to $2.2 million.

He did not start a regular season game but played well in the Ravens playoff run.
